Auditions consist of two stages: a first round and a callback. No prior musical experience is required. All auditions are in-person.

FIRST ROUND
Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before. We’ll walk you through every step of the way.

What to expect:

• Some easy warmups to get your voice ready.

• A few fun pitch and rhythm exercises. We’ll demonstrate before you try.

• Our favorite part: Your SOLO!

  • Prepare a 30-60 second unaccompanied solo of your choice.

  • It doesn’t matter what it is. We’ve heard everything from Happy Birthday to opera to Evanescence!

  • Have fun and show us what you’ve got!

CALLBACK
Getting invited to a callback can be both exciting and scary. We want to support you no matter what.

What to expect:

• TWO songs to learn from the Harmonics’ awesome repertoire.

• A group music learning session to learn together with other callbackees.

• A current Harmonics member will be your personal callback buddy, so you’re never learning on your own.

• Music learning materials in pdf, MIDI, and mp3 format. We’ve got you covered no matter how you learn.

• During the callback, you’ll perform each piece twice:

  • Once with a current Harmonics member singing with you on your part.

  • Once with you holding your own.
